Klinedinst PC is seeking an In-House Legal Recruiting & Professional Development Manager to lead attorney and staff recruiting. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the firm’s talent strategy and supporting attorney growth. The ideal candidate combines legal recruiting expertise with a passion for career development within a law firm environment. While we are seeking to fill this position in our San Diego office, we are open to candidates in our other California offices – Irvine, Los Angeles, and Sacramento.

  • Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000/year (depending on experience and location)

Key Responsibilities:
 
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
 
  • Develop and execute proactive and strategic recruiting plans for lateral attorneys, associates, summer associates, and key professional staff.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Build relationships with law schools, recruiting agencies, and professional networks.
  • Coordinate summer associate and internship programs.
  • Partner with team members to identify hiring needs and workforce planning priorities.
  • Maintain and enhance employer branding efforts.
 
Onboarding & Integration
 
  • Design and oversee onboarding programs for attorneys and staff.
  • Develop structured integration plans for lateral hires.
  • Facilitate orientation and initial training sessions.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, attorney development, or law firm HR management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
